Bannister has worked at every level of film and television production, guiding numerous projects from their inception to the screen. During his tenure as a Creative Executive in Los Angeles, he played a pivotal role in the development of feature projects for Hollywood studios. Upon relocating to Vancouver, he has developed and produced properties targeted for the global market, with Brightlight Pictures and Great Pacific Media.
With The Coup Company, he transitioned his focus to online audience building and digital marketing. In this capacity, he was instrumental in the development and customization of the company's film accelerators for esteemed partners such as Cineplex and CBC.
Currently, Bannister serves as the creator and Executive Producer of Stories for Caregivers, an initiative that he has meticulously nurtured and managed since 2017. Through Stories for Caregivers, he has helped produce over 20 distinct web series centered around caregiving, amassing an impressive viewership of over 34 million.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Bannister wears multiple hats. He is a devoted father of three, a dedicated mentor to aspiring filmmakers, and an accomplished screenwriter with completed scripts for various Disney titles to his credit.
